Stagecoach London is a bus operator in London. It is a subsidiary of Stagecoach and operates services under contract to Transport for London.

Barking (BK)

Barking garage operates London bus routes 5, 15 (early/late journeys only), 62, 167169, 238 (night service on this 24-hour route), 366 and 396, weekend night route 145 and night route N15.

History

On 23 April 2016, the night service of route 238 was transferred to this garage from West Ham (WH) garage.

On 30 April 2016, route 687 passed to Blue Triangle.

On 4 March 2017, route 101 passed to Blue Triangle.

On 11 March 2017, Stagecoach London commenced operating routes 167.

On 25 March 2017, Stagecoach London commenced operating routes 362 and 462

Blue Triangle will take over the operations of routes 5 and N15 from 26 August 2017.

Bow (BW)

History

In December 2007, Bow took over the running of Heritage route 15 from the closed Waterden Road garage until this moved to West Ham in June 2009.

On 3 March 2012, the West Ham allocation for routes 5 and N15 was transferred.

On 31 August 2013, the night allocation for route 277 was transferred to this garage from West Ham (WH) garage.

Blue Triangle will take over the operations of routes 5, 15 and N15 from 26 August 2017.

On 17 September 2016, route 660 passed to Arriva London.

On 27 May 2017, route N136 passed to London Central .

On 29 November 2014, the Leyton (T) allocation for route 97 was transferred to West Ham (WH) garage (except certain trips worked off route 69 night allocation, and one working on Sundays).

On 25 February 2017, route 48 passed to Arriva London.

History

On 31 December 2011, route 625 passed to London Central.

On 18 August 2012, route 122 was transferred back to after briefly being operated by Catford (TL) garage.

On 23 January 2016, route 469 passed to Arriva London

Stagecoach London will take over the opertation of route 161 from 17 March 2018.

Arriva London will take over the operation of route 99 from 20 January 2018.

Rainham (RM)

Rainham garage operates London bus routes 103, 165174248252256287, 365 (day time service only) and 372.

History

The garage was opened in 2007 after Waterden Road was closed to allow the site to be redeveloped for the 2012 Olympic Games.

In May 2008, all buses along with the trainers were moved into the new West Ham garage, meaning Rainham no longer operated any Transport for London routes. Rainham carried out all the engineering work until the new West Ham garage was completed in 2009.

Transport for London routes returned to Rainham on 27 September 2008 when route 248 commenced. 

On 26 March 2011, route 287 was transferred to this garage from Barking (BK) garage.

On 28 September 2013, Stagecoach London commenced operating routes 165, 252, 256 and 365.

On 11 April 2015, part of route 103's allocation was transferred to this garage from Romford (NS) garage.

On 27 June 2015, the allocation of route 103 was transferred to this garage from Romford (NS) garage, except for one Mon-Fri morning working off route 86 allocation at Romford garage.

On 18 July 2016, the Romford (NS) allocation for route 256 will be transferred to this garage (one AM SDO trip remains operated by Romford garage from route 86 allocation (formerly 496)).

Arriva London will takeover the operation of route 103 from 14 October 2017.

History

On 31 March 2012, route 647 passed to Arriva London.

On 15 April 2013, Stagecoach London commenced operating temporary school contract for route 256.

On 28 September 2013, Stagecoach London commenced operating the night service on route 365, the day service is run from Rainham (RM) garage.

On 27 June 2015, Stagecoach London commenced operating routes 498 and 499.

On 27 June 2015, the allocation for route 103 was transferred to Rainham (RM) garage from this garage, except for one Mon-Fri morning working off route 86 allocation at this garage.

On 18 July 2016, the Romford (NS) allocation for route 256 will be transferred to Rainham (RM) garage (one AM School trip remains operated by Romford garage from route 86 allocation (formerly 496)).

Arriva London will takeover the operation of route 175 from 14 October 2017.

On 31 August 2013, route N550 passed to Tower Transit.
