London Buses route R7 is a Transport for London contracted bus route in London, England. Running between Chislehurst and Chelsfield Village, it is operated by Stagecoach London.
Route R7 commenced operating on 13 December 2003 between Orpington Walnuts Centre and Bickley Station via Gravel Pit Way - Spur Road - Orpington War Memorial - Station Road - Crofton Road - Allington Road - Andover Road - Tandridge Drive - Crofton Lane - St John's Road - Tudor Way - Queensway - Franks Wood Avenue - Southborough Lane - Blackbrook Lane - Oldfield Road - Southborough Road. It was initially operated by Metrobus from their Orpington (MB) garage using Plaxton Pointer 2 bodied Dennis Dart SLFs.
On 15 October 2007, owing to a weight restriction on the bridge at Bickley Station buses were diverted to Hawthorne Road.
On 27 March 2010, the route was extended from Bickley Station to Aquila – buses will run both ways via Oldfield Road, Southborough Road, Hawthorne Road, Barfield Road and Golf Road to Sanderson Square.
On 7 December 2013, the route passed to Stagecoach London operating from their Bromley (TB) garage using brand new Alexander Dennis Enviro 200 Darts.
On 1 April 2017, the route was extended from Orpington to Chelsfield via route R3. At the same time, the route was extended to Chislehurst.
