London Buses route P12 is a Transport for London contracted bus route in London, England. Running between Brockley Rise and Surrey Quays, it is operated by London Central.
Route P12 commenced operating on 19 November 1988 between Peckham Bus Garage and Peckham Bus Garage via Peckham Rye - Nunhead Lane - Evelina Road - Kimberley Avenue - Linden Grove - Ivydale Road - St Asaph Road - Avignon Road - Frendsbury Road - St Norbet Road - Mertinns Road - Ivydale Road - Linden Grove - Kimberley Avenue - Evelina Road - Nunhead Lane - Rye Lane - Peckham High Street. The route was operated from Peckham (PM) garage using Optare StarRiders.
On 18 November 1989, the St Asaph Road - Avignon Road - Frendsbury Road - St Norbet Road was withdrawn.
On 4 April 1998, the Optare StarRiders were replaced by Plaxton Pointer bodied Dennis Darts.
On 9 October 1999, the route was retained by London Central and rerouted at Ivydale Road to BROCKLEY RISE instead of former loop working.
On 1 December 2001, the route was converted to low floor using Plaxton Pointer 2 bodied Dennis Dart SLFs.
On 19 January 2002, the route was rerouted between Ivydale Road and Honor Oak via Merttins Road and the full length of Brenchley Gardens instead of via Ivydale Road and Kelvington Road.
On 9 October 2004, the route was extended from Peckham to Surrey Quays via Queens Road - Asylum Road - Old Kent Road - Ilderton Road - Rotherhithe New Road - Catlin Street - St James's Road - Southwark Park Road - Rotherhithe - Canada Water Station and Surrey Quays Road.
On 8 October 2011, the route was retained by London Central with brand new Alexander Dennis Enviro 200 Darts introduced.
On 8 October 2016, the route was retained by London Central.
