London Buses route N73 is a Transport for London contracted bus route in London, England. Running between Walthamstow Central and Oxford Circus, it is operated by Arriva London.

History[]

Night bus N73 provides a night service for route 73 between Stoke Newington and Victoria and continues from Stoke Newington to Walthamstow Central Station via Selborne Road, Hoe Street, Forest Road, Blackhorse Road Station, Forest Road, Ferry Lane, Tottenham Hale Station, The Hale, Monument Way, Tottenham High Road, Seven Sisters Station, and Stamford Hill.

Night bus N73 initially operated from Tottenham (AR) Garage using MCW Metrobuses. The MCW Metrobuses were replaced by Alexander ALX400 bodied DAF DB250LFs.

On 4 September 2004, the route was retained by Arriva London.

On 3 September 2011, the route was retained by Arriva London with brand new Wright Eclipse Gemini 2 bodied Volvo B5LHs introduced and the allocation was transferred from Tottenham (AR) to Stamford Hill (SF) garages.

The daytime route 73 was converted to artic operation but this never happened on the night version.

On 14 May 2015, the Wright Eclipse Gemini 2 bodied Volvo B5LHs were replaced by brand New Routemasters.

On 17 June 2017, the route was withdrawn between Oxford Circus and Victoria.

On 1 September 2018, the route was retained by Arriva London.

On 7 November 2020, the route was transferred to Clapton (CT) garage.
