London Buses route N41 is a Transport for London contracted bus route in London, England. Running between Tottenham Hale and Trafalgar Square, it is operated by Arriva London.

History[]

Route N41 commenced operation on 9 December 2000 running between Tottenham Hale and Archway via Watermead Way - Hale Road - Ferry Lane - Broad Lane - Seven Sisters Station - West Green Road - Alfoxton Avenue - Green Lanes - Turnpike Lane Station - Turnpike Lane - Tottenham Lane - Hornsey Station - Tottenham Lane - Crouch End Broadway - Crouch End Hill - Hornsey Rise - Hazellville Road - St John's Way - Archway Station - Highgate Hill. The route was initially operated by Arriva London from their Tottenham (AR) garage using Alexander ALX400 bodied DAF DB250LFs.

On 5 February 2005, the route was extended from Archway to Trafalgar Square via the withdrawn night bus N43.

On 4 February 2006, the route was retained by Arriva London.

On 27 March 2010, the route was rerouted westbound at Bloomsbury via contraflow bus lane instead of a one-way system.

On 2 February 2013, the route was retained by Arriva London with Wright Gemini 2 bodied VDL DB300s introduced.

On 8 November 2014, the route was rerouted via Broad Lane in both directions instead of via High Road and Monument Way.

On 3 February 2018, the route was retained by Arriva London and the Wright Gemini 2 bodied VDL DB300s were replaced by Wright Eclipse Gemini 3 bodied Volvo B5LHs.
