London Buses route N29 is a Transport for London, England. Running between Trafalgar Square and Enfield Town, it is operated by Arriva London.
Route N29 commenced operating on 27 February 1980 between Trafalgar Square and Enfield Town via Piccadily Circus - Shaftsbury Avenue - Camden Town - Holloway - Finsbury Park, Manor House - Harringay - Turnpike Lane - Wood Green, Palmers Green - Winchmore Hill. The route was initially operated by London Transport their Wood Green (WN) garage using a MCW Metrobus.
On 26 June 1993, Palmers Green (AD) allocation was added, to replace N9 duties.
On 1 June 1996, Palmers Green (AD) allocation was withdrawn.
On 3 Febrary 2001, the route was retained by Arriva London and was converted to low floor operation with Alexander ALX400 bodied DAF DB250LFs.
On 14 January 2006, Mercedes-Benz O530G articulated buses were introduced and the allocation was transferred to Edmonton (EC) garage. The route was withdrawn between Enfield & Ponders End at the same time.
On 26 November 2011, the route was converted back to double deck operation using new Wright Gemini 2 bodied VDL DB300s and Wright Eclipse Gemini bodied Volvo B7TLs. The allocation was transferred to Wood Green (WN) garage at the same time.
In July 2013, the Wright Gemini 2 bodied VDL DB300s and Wright Eclipse Gemini bodied Volvo B7TLs were replaced by brand new Wright Eclipse Gemini 2 bodied Volvo B5LHs.
