London Buses route N28 is a Transport for London contracted bus route in London, England. Running between Camden Town and Wandsworth, it is operated by Tower Transit.

History

Route N28, together with route N31, run the night service for routes 28, 31 and 328.

Route N28 commenced operating on 29 May 1999 between Camden Town Bayham Street and Wandsworth Mapleton Road via Camden Palace - Camden Lock - Chalk Farm - Swiss Cottage - Kilburn - Westbourne Park - Notting Hill Gate - Kensington - Olympia - North end Road - Fulham - Wandsworth Bridge. The route was initially operated by First London from their Westbourne Park (X) garage using Marshal Capital bodied Dennis Dart SLFs.

On 4 May 2004, the route was converted to double-deck using brand new Wright Eclipse Gemini bodied Volvo B7TLs.

On 1 October 2011, the allocation was transferred to Atlas Road (AS) garage.

In June 2013, the route was included in the sale of First London's Atlas Road garage to Tower Transit.

On 1 July 2017, the allocation was transferred to Westbourne Park (X) garage.
