London Buses route N205 is a Transport for London contracted bus route in London, England. Running between Paddington and Leyton, it is operated by Stagecoach London.
History
Route N205 commenced operation on 31 August 2013, to replace the night service on 24-hour route 205. Also operating by Stagecoach London from their Bow (BW) Garage. No timetable change took place; the existing night-time services on the 205 was simply re-numbered as N205 and extended to Leyton, Drapers Field via Stratford as part of the Stratford development scheme. The route initially used Scania OmniCitys.
In July 2014, the Scania OmniCitys were replaced by brand new Alexander Dennis Enviro 400Hs.
On 30 August 2014, the route was retained by Stagecoach London.
On 29 November 2015, the route was permanently diverted via Shoreditch.
Due to Crossrail works in Paddington, on 12 February 2018, the route temporarily had its western terminus relocated from Paddington to Lancaster Gate. It resumed operating to Paddington in March 2018.
On 15 June 2019, the route was re-rerouted via Euston Road no longer serving Marylebone Station forecourt.
On 31 August 2019, the route was retained by Stagecoach London.
