London Buses route H37 is a Transport for London contracted bus route in London, England. Running between Hounslow and Richmond, it is operated by London United.

HistoryEdit

Route H37 commenced operating on 25 May 1991 between Hounslow Bus Station and Richmond Bus Station via London Road Isleworth - St John's Road - Isleworth War Memorial - St Margarets Stn - Richmond Bridge. The route was introduced to replace the withdrawn section of route 37 between Hounslow and Richmond. The route was initially operated by London United with Plaxton Pointer bodied Dennis Darts.

On 24 January 1994, the Plaxton Pointer bodied Dennis Darts were replaced by Leyland Lynxes.

On 13 April 1996, the Leyland Lynxes were replaced by Leyland Nationals.

In 1999, the route was converted to low floor operation using Plaxton Pointer 2 bodied Dennis Dart SLFs.

In 2003, the route was retained by London United.

On 3 February 2007, the route was extended from Hounslow Bus Station to Blenheim Centre

On 27 June 2009, the route was extended from Richmond Station to Richmond Manor Circus.

In 2011, the route was retained by London United with brand new Optare Tempos introduced.

On 9 January 2016, a half hourly service on weekend nights was introduced..

The route will be retained by London United from 3 March 2018.
