London Buses route 697 is a Transport for London contracted bus route in London, England. Running between Wood End and Ickenham, it is operated by London United.
In 2004, the MCW Metrobuses were replaced by Northern Counties Palatine II bodied Volvo Olympians.
In April 2005, the route was converted to low floor operation using Plaxton President bodied Dennis Tridents and the allocation was transferred from Uxbridge (UX) to Acton (AT) garage.
On 2 September 2006, the route passed to London United operating from their Hounslow (AV) garage with Plaxton President and Alexander ALX400 bodied Volvo B7TLs.
In 2009, the Plaxton President and Alexander ALX400 bodied Volvo B7TLs were replaced by Scania OmniCitys.
On 3 September 2011, the route was retained by London United.
On 3 September 2016, the route was retained by retained by London United.
