London Buses route 689 is a Transport for London contracted bus route in London, England. Running between Croydon and The Glade, it is operated by Arriva London.


Route 689 commenced operating on 22 April 2014 between West Croydon Bus Station and Tramlinkand The Glade Glade Gardens via Addiscombe - Shirley. The route was initially operated by Arriva London from their Thornton Heath (TH) garage using an Alexander ALX400 bodied DAF DB250LF. The route was introduced to replace the school journeys on route 367.

In August 2015, the Alexander ALX400 bodied DAF DB250LF was replaced by an Alexander Dennis Enviro 400.
