London Buses route 611 is a Transport for London contracted bus route in London, England. Running between Stonebridge Park and East Finchley, it is operated by Metroline.

HistoryEdit

Route 611 commenced operation on 31 July 1999 between Stonebridge Park and East Finchley via North Circular Road and Brent Cross. Initially operating from Metroline using a MCW Metrobus. The route was introduced to replaced the school service on route 112.

In 2002, the allocation was transferred to Cricklewood (W) garage.

In 2004, the route was converted to low floor operation using a Plaxton President bodied Dennis Trident.

In 2005, the allocation was transferred to Perivale East (PV) garage and the Plaxton President bodied Dennis Trident was replaced by a Plaxton President bodied Volvo B7TL.

In 2008, the Plaxton President bodied Dennis Trident was replaced by a Plaxton President bodied Dennis Trident.

On 1 August 2009, the route was retained by Metroline.

In 2011, the Plaxton President bodied Dennis Trident was replaced by a East Lancs Olympus bodied Scania N230UD.

On 2 August 2014, the route was retained by Metroline.

In 2018, the East Lancs Olympus bodied Scania N230UD was replaced by a Optare Metrodecker.
