London Buses route 466 is a Transport for London contracted bus route in London, England. Running between Caterham-on-the-Hill and Addington, it is operated by Arriva London.
Route 466 commenced operation on 29 August 1998 between Catherham-on-the-Hill Westway Common and Shirley Inn via Old Coulsdon - Coulsdon Road,Stoats Nest Road - Brighton Road - Purley - South Croydon - East Croydon - Addiscombe Road - Wickham Road. The route initially operated by Arriva London from their Croydon (TC) garage using MCW Metrobuses. The route was introduced to replace route 400 between Caterham & Croydon and route 166 between Croydon and Shirley.
On 21 May 2000, the route was diverted at Addiscombe Road to Addington Tramlink via Route 130 and the MCW Metrobuses were replaced by ECW bodied Leyland Olympians.
On 30 August 2003, the route passed to Metrobus operating from their Godstone (GD) garage and was converted to low floor operation using Scania OmniDekkas.
On 25 Febrary 2006, Godstone (GD) garage was announced closed and the allocation was transferred to Croydon (C) garage.
On 30 August 2008, the route passed to Arriva London operating from their Croydon (TC) garage using brand new Alexander Dennis Enviro 400s.
On 31 August 2013, the route was retained by Arriva London.
