London Buses route 464 is a Transport for London contracted bus route in London, England. Running between Tatsfield and New Addington, it is operated by Abellio London.

History Edit

Route 464 commenced operating on 20 May 2000 between New Addington Salcot Crescent and Tatsfield Ship via Parkway - Overbury Crescent - Homestead Way - King Henry's Drive - Sheepbarn Lane - Jewels Hill - Saltbox Hill - Main Road - Lebanon Gardens - Stock Hill - Sunningvale Avenue - Polesteeple Hill - Ricketts Hill Road - Old Lane - Ship Hill - Paynesfield Road. The route was initially operated by Metrobus from their Godstone (GD) garage using Plaxton Pointer 2 bodied Dennis Dart SLFs. Prior to 20 May 2000 the route was a commercial route.

On 6 December 2003, the allocation was transferred to Green Street Green (MB) garage.

On 22 May 2010, the route was retained by Metrobus.

In July 2014, the Go-Ahead Group restructured its bus operations, which included the transfer of route 464 from Metrobus to Go-Ahead London.

On 24 October 2015, the route was rerouted at New Addington via Arnheim Drive instead of Homestead Way.

On 20 May 2017, the route was passed to Abellio London operating from their Beddington Cross (BC) garage using brand new Enviro 200 MMC bodied Alexander Dennis E20Ds.
