London Buses route 424 is a Transport for London contracted bus route in London, England. Running between Putney Heath and Craven Cottage, it is operated by London General.


Route 424 commenced operating on 7 April 2001 between Putney Heath Telegraph Inn and Fulham Craven Cottage via Wildcroft Road - Telegraph Road - Putney Heath - Carslake Road - Westleigh Avenue - Genoa Avenue - Chartfield Avenue - Putney Hill - Putney High Street - Putney Bridge - Putney Bridge Approach - New Kings Road - Parson's Green - Peterborough Road - Carnwath Road - Townmead Road - Byam Street - Stephendale Road - Broughton Road,Sandilands Road - Wandsworth Bridge Road - New Kings Road - Harwood Road - Fulham Broadway - Fulham Road - Munster Road - Lillie Road - Fulham Palace Road - Lysia Street - Woodlawn Road - Queensmill Road - Stevenage Road - Kenyon Street - Woodlawn Road - Inglethorpe Street. The route was introduced to replace withdrawn route C4. The route was initially operated by London General from their Putney (AF) garage using Plaxton Pointer 2 bodied Dennis Dart SLFs.

In 20002, the Southbound diversion via Putney Bridge Station was withdrawn.

In 2004, the route was diverted at Broughton Road via Pearscroft Road and Bagley's Lane instead 0f Wandsworth Bridge Road.

On 2 April 2013, the route was retained by London General.
