London Buses route 393 is a Transport for London contracted bus route in London, England. Running between Clapton and Chalk Farm, it is operated by Arriva London.
Route 393 commenced operating on 22 February 2003, running between Clapton Nightingale Road and Holloway Nags Head. The route was initially operated by East Thames Buses from their Ash Grove garage (AG) using Volvo Merit bodied DAF SB120s.
On 15 October 2005, the allocation was transferred to Mandella Way (MA) garage.
On 28 July 2007, the route passed to Arriva London operating from their Clapton (CT) garage but buses were out stationed at Ash Grove (AE) garage. At the same time, Alexander Dennis Enviro 200 Darts were introduced and the route was extended from Holloway to Chalk Farm.
On 2 February 2013, Out stationing at Ash Grove (AE) garage ceased when route 38's PVR was reduced thus making room at Clapton (CT) garage.
On 22 March 2014, the route was retained by Arriva London with 10.2m Alexander Dennis Enviro 200 Darts introduced and existing 9.3m Alexander Dennis Enviro 200 Darts.
