London Buses route 370 is a Transport for London contracted bus route in London, England. Running between Lakeside and Romford, it is operated by Arriva London.

History

Route 370 commenced operating on 3 November 2007 between Lakeside and Romford via Arterial Road West - Pilgrims Lane - Stifford Hill - South Road - South Ockendon - South Road - Ockendon Road - North Ockendon - Ockendon Road - Corbets Tey - Corbets Tey Road - Station Road - Upminster Station - Station Road - St Mary's Lane - Upminster Road - Upminster Bridge Station - Upminster Road - Hornchurch High Street - North Street - Emerson Park Station - Butts Green Road - Slewins Lane - Gidea Park - Heath Park Road - Victoria Road - Romford Station - South Street - Western Road - Mercury Gardens. Initially operated by Arriva Kent Thameside from their Grays (GY) garage using brand new Alexander Dennis Enviro 200 Darts (First London operated school journeys from Dagenham (DM) garage using a Plaxton President bodied Dennis Trident). Prior to 3 November 2007 route 370 had been a long standing route with London Transport country area operated by Arriva.

In July 2012, route 370 was converted to double deck using Alexander ALX400 bodied DAF DB250LFs.

On 3 November 2012, the route was retained by Arriva Kent Thameside with Alexander ALX400 bodied Volvo B7TLs introduced.

On 1 January 2016, the Arriva group restructured its bus operations, which included the transfer of route 370 from Arriva Kent Thameside to Arriva London.

The route will be retained by Arriva London from 4 November 2017.
