London Buses route 357 is a Transport for London contracted bus route in London, England. Running between Whipps Cross to Chingford Hatch, it is operated by London General.

History

Route 357 was commissioned on 26 February 2000 and provided a service between Chingford Hatch Prince of Wales and Whipps Cross Hospital via Hatch Lane - New Road - Chingford Mount - Crooked Billet - Chingford Road - Walthamstow Central Station - Hoe Street - Baker's Arms - Lea Bridge Road - ( return via Leyton Green ) Whipps Cross - Whipps Cross Road. The route was initially operated by First Capital from their Northumberland Park (NP) garage using Plaxton President bodied Dennis Tridents and Marshall Capital bodied Dennis Dart SLFs. The route was introduced to withdrawn replace route 97A between Chingford Hatch and Whipps Cross.

On 3 March 2012, the route was retained by First London using brand new Wright Eclipse Gemini 2 bodied Volvo B9TLs and Alexander Dennis Enviro200 Darts.

On 31 March 2012, the route was included in the sale of First London's Northumberland Park garage (NP) to London General.

In February 2018, the Alexander Dennis Enviro 200 Darts were replaced by Wright StreetLites.
