London Buses route 322 is a Transport for London contracted bus route in London, England. Running between Crystal Palace and Clapham Common, it is operated by London General.
Route 322 commenced operating on 24 October 1992 to replace the withdrawn section of Route 2 Vauxhall and "Rosendale" and then extended via new Roads to Crystal Palace as a Monday to Saturday route. Initially operated by Optare StarRider bodied Mercedes MB811D.
On 9 October 1993, route 322 was extended from Vauxhall to Elephant & Castle via Kennington Cross. The Optare StarRider bodied Mercedes MB811Ds were replace by Plaxton Pointer bodied Dennis Darts.
On 29 April 1995, the route was rerouted northbound in Brixton via Coldharbour Lane and Lambeth Town Hall and a Sunday service was introduced.
On 29 April 2000, route 322 passed to Connex using brand new Alexander ALX200 bodied Dennis Dart SLFs, operating from their Beddington Cross (BC) garage.
On 30 April 2005, the route passed to London General using brand new Plaxton Pointer 2 bodied Dennis Dart SLFs, operating from their Stockwell (SW) garage. At the same time, route 322 was withdrawn between Brixton and Elephant & Castle - this section replaced by revised Route 196 and rerouted at Brixton via Stockwell Road - Landor Road - Clapham South to Old Town via withdrawn section of Route 355.
