London Buses route 322 is a Transport for London contracted bus route in London, England. Running between Crystal Palace and Clapham Common, it is operated by London General.
Route 322 commenced operating on 24 October 1992 between Crystal Palace and Vauxhall Station via Westow Hill - Gipsy Hill - Gipsy Road - St Gothard Rd - Vale Street - Tritton Rd - Robson Road - West Norwood - Tulse Hill Stn - Herne Hill - Railton Rd - Brixton - Stockwell,Landsdowne Way - Wandsworth Road as a Monday to Saturday route. It was initially operated by South London from their Norwood (N) garage using Optare StarRiders. The route was introduced to replace route 2 between Vauxhall and "Rosendale" and then extended via new Roads to Crystal Palace.
On 9 October 1993, the route was extended from Vauxhall to Elephant & Castle via Kennington Cross. The Optare StarRider bodied Mercedes MB811Ds were replace by Plaxton Pointer bodied Dennis Darts.
On 29 April 1995, the route was rerouted northbound in Brixton via Coldharbour Lane and Lambeth Town Hall and a Sunday service was introduced.
On 29 April 2000, the route passed to Connex operating from their Beddington Cross (BC) garage using brand new Alexander ALX200 bodied Dennis Dart SLFs.
On 30 April 2005, the route passed to London General operating from their Stockwell (SW) garage using brand new Plaxton Pointer 2 bodied Dennis Dart SLFs. The route was withdrawn between Brixton and Elephant & Castle - this section replaced by revised Route 196 and rerouted at Brixton via Stockwell Road - Landor Road - Clapham South to Old Town via withdrawn section of Route 355 at the same time.
On 1 May 2010, the route passed to Abellio London operating from their Beddington Cross (BC) garage using Plaxton Pointer 2 bodied Dennis Dart SLFs.
