London Buses route 307 is a Transport for London contracted bus route in London, England. Running between Brimsdown and Barnet Hospital, it is operated by Metroline.


Route 307 commenced operating on 27 September 1986 between Brimsdown Station and New Barnet via Green Street - Hertford Road - Ponders End - Enfield Town - Enfield Chase - Oakwood - Cat Hill - East Barnet Road - New Barnet - Station Road - Barnet Church - Wood Street . The route was initially operated by Eastern National using Bristol VRTs. The route was introduced to replace the withdrawn section of route 107.

In October 1986, the Monday to Friday service was extended from Barnet to Barnet General Hospital, but start point was Arkley Hotel on return.

In July 1990, the route passed to Thamesway operating from their Ponders End (PE) garage using Bristol VRTs and Leyland bodied Leyland Olympians.

In August 1990, the route was extended from Barnet to Arkley at all times.

In December 1995, the route passed to Leaside operating from their Enfield (E) garage and was converted to single deck operation using Plaxton Pointer bodied Dennis Darts. At the same time schoolday journeys were introduced between Oakwood and Barnet operated by First Capital from their Northumberland Park (NP) garage.

In February 2002, the route was converted to low floor double deck operation using Plaxton President bodied DAF DB250LFs and the Schoolday journeys operated by First Capital was withdrawn.

In December 2008, the route was retained by Arriva London.

In 2012, Wright Eclipse Gemini bodied B7TLs were introduced.

In July 2013, the route was converted to full Wright Eclipse Gemini bodied Volvo B7TLs were introduced.

In 2014, Wright Pulsar Gemini bodied DAF DB250LF were introduced.

On 12 December 2015, the route passed to Metroline operating from their Potters Bar (PB) garage with Alexander Dennis Enviro 400s introduced.

On 18 November 2016, a half hourly weekend night service was introduced.
