London Buses Route 303 is a Transport for London contracted bus route in London, England. Running between Edgware and Colindale, it is operated by Arriva London.
Route 303 commenced operation on 1 February 1992 between Edgware Station and Colindale via Mill Hill as a Monday to Saturday service. the route was initially operated by Metroline from their Edgware (EW) garage using MCW Metroriders.
In November 1992, the MCW Metroriders were replaced by Plaxton Pointer bodied Dennis Darts.
In 1993, a Sunday service was introduced and the Plaxton Pointer bodied Dennis Darts were replaced by Optare StarRider bodied Mercedes MB811Ds.
In 1994, the Optare StarRider bodied Mercedes MB811Ds were replaced by Plaxton Pointer bodied Dennis Darts.
In February 2002, the Plaxton Pointer bodied Dennis Darts were replaced by low floor Plaxton Pointer 2 bodied Dennis Dart SLFs.
In 2004, the allocation was transferred from Edgware (EW) to North Wembley (NW) garages.
On 31 August 2013, the route was again retained by Arriva The Shires with existing Plaxton Pointer 2 bodied Dennis Dart SLFs and Wright Cadet bodied VDL SB120s.
On 1 January 2016, the Arriva group restructured its bus operations, which included the transfer of route 303 from Arriva The Shires to Arriva London.
The route will be pass to London Sovereign and will be operated from their Edgware (BT) garage using brand new Enviro 200 MMC bodied Alexander Dennis E20Ds from 30 September 2018. The route will be reconstructed to operated between Kingsbury and Edgware at the same time.
