London Buses route 300 is a Transport for London contracted bus route in London, England. Running between East Ham and Canning Town, it is operated by Blue Triangle.

History

Route 300 commenced operating on 25 September 1993 between Cyprus Winsor Park Estate and East Ham Station via Covelees Wall - Warwall - Newark Road - Horseleaze - Cyprus By-Pass - Ferndale Street - Cyprus Place - Strait Road - Stansfield Road - East Beckton - High Street South - Vicarage Lane - Goosley Lane - Folkestone Road - Park Avenue - Barking Road - High Street North. The route initially operated by Stagecoach East London from their Upton Park (U) garage using MCW Metroriders.

On 12 March 1994, the MCW Metroriders were replaced by Optare StarRiders.

On 16 September 1995, the Optare StarRiders were replaced by Plaxton Pointer bodied Dennis Darts.

On 1 May 1999, the allocation was transferred from Upton Park (U) to Barking (BK) garages.

On 18 September 1999, the route was withdrawn between Royal Albert Hall and Cyprus and the route was diverted to Canning Town Station instead. The route was converted to low floor using Plaxton Pointer 2 bodied Dennis Dart SLFs at the same time.

On 22 July 2000, the route was extended from East Ham Station to Wordsworth Avenue.

On 5 March 2005, the route was retained by Stagecoach London.

On 6 March 2010, the route was passed to Docklands Buses operating from their Silvertown (SI) garage with brand new Alexander Dennis Enviro 200 Darts introduced.

On 17 September 2011, the operation was transferred to Blue Triangle operating from their Rainham (BE) garage.

On 2 July 2016, the allocation was transferred to River Road (RR) garage.

On 1 October 2016, the operation was transferred to Docklands Buses operating from their Silvertown (SI) garage.

On 29 July 2017, the operation was transferred to Blue Triangle operating from their River Road (RR) garage.
