London Buses route 190 is a Transport for London contracted bus route in London, England. Running between Richmond and West Brompton, it is operated by Metroline.
Route 190 commenced operating on 23 February 1991 between Richmond Bus Station and West Brompton Empress State Building via Chiswick Bridge - Chiswick - Hammersmith - Lillie Road as a Monday to Saturday service. The route was introduced to replace the withdrawn section of route 290 between Richmond and Hammersmith. The route was initially operated by London United from Stamford Brook (V) garage with Leyland Lynxes.
On 29 January 1994, the Leyland Lynxes were replaced by Carlyle Dartline bodied Dennis Darts.
On 1 October 1995, a Sunday service was introduced operated by London BusLines using Leyland Olympians.
On 7 December 1996, the route passed to Armchair operating from their Brentford (AH) garage with Plaxton Pointer bodied Dennis Darts introduced.
On 19 January 2002, the route was converted to low floor operation using Plaxton Pointer 2 bodied Dennis Dart SLFs.
In November 2004, the route was included in the sale of Armchair to Metroline.
On 3 December 2008, the route was retained by Metroline.
In February 2009, the Plaxton Pointer 2 bodied Dennis Dart SLFs were replaced by MCV Evolution bodied Alexander Dennis Enviro 200 Darts.
On 12 December 2015, the route was retained by Metroline.
