London Buses route 184 is a Transport for London contracted bus route in London, England. Running between Barnet (Chesterfield Road) and Turnpike Lane, it is operated by Arriva London.
Route 184 was commissioned on 28 January 1996 operating by from Arriva London from their from Wood Green (WN) garage and provided a service between and from using Plaxton Pointer bodied Dennis Darts and a MCW Metrobus.
On 6 January 1997, double deck journeys were withdrawn.
On 15 June 2002, the route was converted to low floor using brand new Wright Cadets bodied DAF SB120s.
On 14 October 2002, school day journeys provided by Edmonton (EC) garage using a MCW Metrobus was introduced.
On 14 January 2006, double deck duty were transferred to Wood Green (WN) garage and the MCW Metrobus was replaced by a low floor Wright Eclipse Gemini bodied Volvo B7TL.
On 7 February 2009, the route was retained by Arriva London using Wright Cadet bodied DAF SB120s and Wright Eclipse Gemini bodied Volvo B7TLs.
In July 2009, the Wright Cadet bodied DAF SB120s were replaced by brand new Alexander Dennis Enviro 200 Darts.
On 1 March 2014, single deck allocation moved to Edmonton (EC) garage but worked by Wood Green (WN) drivers.
On 15 November 2014, single deck allocation was transferred back to Wood Green (WN) garage.
On 6 February 2016, the route was retained by Arriva London using Alexander Dennis Enviro 200 Darts and a Wright Eclipse Gemini bodied Volvo B7TLs.
