London Buses route D3 is a Transport for London contracted bus route in London, England. Running between Leamouth and Bethnal Green, it is operated by Stagecoach London.
Route D3 commenced operating on 18 September 1999 between Bethnal Green Chest Hospital and Isle of Dogs Asda via Bethnal Green Station, Valance Road, New Road, Shadwell, Wapping, Limehouse, Westferry, Canary Wharf (double run), West Ferry Road, Millwall, Island Gardens Station, Manchester Road, Marshwall and Limeharbour. Initially operating from Stratford (SD) garage using Plaxton Pointer 2 bodied Dennis Dart SLFs.
On 28 April 2001, the allocation was transferred to Bow (BW) garage.
On 23 March 2002, the allocation was transferred to Stratford (SD) garage.
On 23 February 2008, Stratford (SD) garage was announced closed and the allocation was transferred to West Ham (WH) garage.
On 19 September 2009, the route was retained by East London with brand new Alexander Dennis Enviro200 Darts introduced.
On 17 September 2016, the route was retained by Stagecoach London and was withdrawn between Crossharbour and Canary Wharf, this section was replaced by routes 135 and 277. At the same time, the route was revised to start from Leamouth via route 277.
