London Buses Route 606 is a Transport for London contracted bus route in London, England. Running between Queensbury Station and The Totteridge Academy, it is operated by Sullivan Buses.
History[]
On 9 October 2004, the route passed to Sullivan Buses operating from their South Mimms (SM) garage using a Plaxton President bodied Volvo B7TL. Prior to 9 October 2004, the route was operated by London Sovereign from their Edgware (BT) garage using a Plaxton President bodied Volvo B7TL.
On 2 December 2006, additional journeys were introduced operated by Metroline from their Edgware (EW) garage using Plaxton President bodied Volvo B7TLs.
On 10 October 2009, the route passed to Metroline.
In 2010, Alexander Dennis Enviro 400s were introduced.
On 11 October 2014, the route was retained by Metroline.
In June 2020, the Alexander Dennis Enviro 400s were replaced by Wright Eclipse Gemini 2 bodied Volvo B9TLs.
On 24 July 2021, the route passed back to Sullivan Buses using existing Alexander Dennis Enviro 400s.
