London Buses route 411 is a Transport for London contracted bus route in London, England. Running between Kingston and West Molesey, it is operated by Quality Line.
History
Route 411 commenced operating on 29 October 1994 between Kingston and West Molesey via Hampton Court - East Molesey. The route was introduced to replace part of route 131. It was initially operated by Westlink operating from their Kingston (K) garage using Leyland Titans.
In 1994, the route was included in the sale of Westlink to West Midlands Travel.
In September 1995, the route was included in the sale of Westlink West Midlands Travel to London United.
On 23 September 1995, the allocation was transferred to Fulwell (FW) garage and the Leyland Titans were replaced by MCW Metrobuses.
On 29 May 1999, Monday-Saturday operation was transferred to Kingston (K) garage.
On 13 May 2000, the Kingston (K) allocation was transferred to Fulwell (FW) garage.
On 19 August 2000, the route converted was to converted to low floor single deck operation using Plaxton Pointer 2 bodied Dennis Dart SLFs.
On 27 January 2001, the allocation was transferred back to Kingston (K) garage and was converted back to double deck operation using Metrobuses.
On 30 June 2001, the Monday to Saturday Kingston (K) allocation was moved to Fulwell (FW) garage and the Metrobuses were replaced by Volvo Olympians.
On 3 November 2001, the Sunday only Kingston (K) allocation was moved to Fulwell (FW) garage.
On 29 June 2002, the allocation was transferred from Fulwell (FW) to Hounslow Heath garages.
On 1 October 2005, the route was retained by London United with low floor Plaxton Pointer 2 bodied Dennis Dart SLFs introduced.
On 2 October 2010, the route to Quality Line operating from their Epsom (EP) garage with brand new Optare Versas introduced.
The route will be retained by Quality Line from 30 September 2016.
