London Buses route 394 is a Transport for London contracted bus route in London, England. Running between Homerton and Islington, it is operated by CT Plus.

HistoryEdit

Route 394 commenced operating on 3 May 2003 between Homerton Hospital Homerton Row and Islington Tolpuddle Street via Homerton Grove - Wardle Street - Homerton High Street - Urswick Road - Lower Clapton Road - Mare Street (for Hackney Downs Station) - Hackney Central Station - Mare Street - Richmond Road - Lansdowne Drive - Sheep Lane - Andrew's Road - Broadway Market - Pritchard's Road - Whiston Road - Haggerston - Kingsland Road - Hoxton Station - Falkirk Street - Hoxton Street - Crondall Street - Pitfield Street - Buckland Street - Clunbury Street - Cherbury Street - New North Road - Murray Grove - Shepherdess Walk - City Road - Angel Station - Pentonville Road - Penton Street. The route was initially operated by CT Plus from their Ash Grove (HK) garage using Caetano Slimbus bodied Dennis Dart SLFs. Prior to 3 May 2003 the route was commercial route.

In September 2007, brand new Alexander Dennis Enviro 200 Darts were introduced.

On 1 May 2010, the route was retained by CT Plus.

The route will be retained by CT Plus with brand new Enviro 200 MMC bodied Alexander Dennis E20Ds introduced from 29 April 2017.
