London Buses Route 302 is a Transport for London contracted bus route in London, England. Running between Kensal Rise and Mill Hill Broadway, it is operated by Metroline.
Route 302 commenced operation on 28 March 1992 between Mill Hill Broadway Station and Ladbroke Grove Elgin Crescent via Deansbrook Rd - Burnt Oak - Kingsbury Green - Blackbird X - Neasden - Willesden - Kensal Rise. The route was initially operated by Metroline from their Willesden (AC) garage using MCW Metrobuses. The route was introduced to replace the withdrawn section of route 52 between Mill Hill Broadway and Ladbroke Grove.
On 14 November 1992, the route was extended to Notting Hill Gate.
In April 1993. the route was converted to single deck operation using Northern Counties-bodied Dennis Lances.
In February 1995, the route was converted back to double deck operation using MCW Metrobuses.
On 27 June 1998, the route was withdrawn between Notting Hill Gate and Kensal Rise and converted back to low floor single deck operation using brand new Plaxton Pointer 2 bodied Dennis Dart SLFs. At the same time, two schoolday peak journeys operated by London Traveller using MCW Metrobuses was introdudced.
On 30 August 2003, the route was retained by Metroline and the double deck school journeys were discontinued.
In 2009, the double deck school journeys returned using Plaxton President bodied Volvo B7TLs.
In April 2010, the route was converted back to full double deck operation using Plaxton President bodied Volvo B7TLs.
On 26 June 2010, the route was retained by Metroline.
On 24 June 2017, the route was retained by Metroline.
In March 2018, the Plaxton President bodied Volvo B7TLs were replaced by existing Wright Eclipse Gemini 2 bodied Volvo B5LHs and brand new Wright Eclipse Gemini 3 bodied Volvo B5LHs.
